ERRIN (European Regions Research and Innovation Network)

ERRIN is an established Brussels-based platform of more than 125 regional stakeholder organisations from 22 European countries, most of whom are represented by its Brussels offices. ERRIN focuses solely on research and innovation policy and funding programmes, as well as project development.

The members of ERRIN are mainly regional authorities, universities, research organisations, chambers of commerce, and clusters. The members of ERRIN develop the agenda and the priorities of the whole network by taking an active role within the network’s working groups or in its Management Board.

Through its 13 working groups, ERRIN works with research and innovation in a very comprehensive way, promoting triple and quadruple helix cooperation and the importance of regional innovation ecosystems. ERRIN facilitates regional collaboration and knowledge exchange to benefit all its members and partner organisations. It aims to build a competitive Europe which supports smart, sustainable, and inclusive growth in all regions.

With the East and North EU Office being an ERRIN member, project operators in East and North Finnish regions can register themselves to ERRIN web pages for free and take advantage of benefits provided by the network, such as latest information concerning the EU financing programmes, calls for proposals and ERRIN events.
