EUCLES (European Cluster Excellence Labelling Structure)
The European Clusters Excellence Labelling Structure (EUCLES), an international non-profit association was officially created on 2021, bringing together national and regional clusters organisations to work for the continuous improvement of the European clusters labelling system. East and North Finland has been active developing cluster labelling in cooperation with EUCLES.
With the help of a pool of experts, EUCLES will assess the management quality of European clusters organisations in order to award a label of excellence to the recipients. EUCLES started to operate in 2021 and took over the European Secretariat for Cluster Analysis (ESCA). EUCLES and its members are very active defining the agreement and framing the labelling process. Several working-groups have been launched on different topics, such as communication and prospection, indicators and recognition of the labels.
